The Cheshire Kart Racing Club was formed in 2007 to organise kart racing at the new Hooton Park Circuit on the Wirral.
The Club Chairman is Bob Wilson, who raced karts himself, and who designed and built the Hooton Park Circuit. Membership of the Club has increased rapidly, as have the entries for the race meetings (the highest entry in 2009 being 170).

Classes run by the Club are Comer Cadet, Junior TKM, Junior Formula Blue, Rotax Mini Max, Junior Max, as well as Senior TKM, Senior Formula Blue, Senior 125 Clubmans and Rotax 177, our TKM entry being the largest in the area.
In addition to the racing, the Club has an active social side organising, for example, River Boat Cruises, etc, plus our very popular Grand Champions Presentation Dinner Dance at the end of the season.
A.R.K.S. testing is available through the Club and we are about to start the Let’s Go Karting Initiative at Hooton Park.
